Co-creating a fulfilling sexual relationship incorporating physical and emotional limitations is absolutely possible but more easily accomplished in an Advanced Partnership.
A survivor of sexual abuse can move beyond their past experiences and trauma to have a fulfilling sexual relationship within an Advanced Partnership of love, connection, trust, and building up positive emotional and physical experiences within their relationship over time.
A post-menopausal woman with low sexual desire can have a fulfilling sexual relationship by combining conscious intention with the desire to please their partner and be open to experiencing pleasure with their partner within an Advanced Partnership of love, connection, trust, and building up positive emotional and physical experiences within their relationship over time.
A man experiencing ED or a traumatic accident (paraplegia, etc) can have a fulfilling sexual relationship within an Advanced Partnership by combining conscious intention with the desire to please their partner and be open to experiencing pleasure with their partner within an Advanced Partnership of love, connection, trust, and building up positive emotional and physical experiences within their relationship over time.
If we are too attached to our pain, trauma, the past, the way things “should” be, and are more focused on what we lost than what we can gain, moving forward and co-creating a fulfilling sexual relationship won’t happen. We are not therapists so we can’t and don’t directly address emotional pain and trauma.
As Relationship Coaches, for those who are open and ready to do so, we help our clients create their Vision of the life and relationship they want, and help them overcome obstacles and find strategies to help them be successful doing so.
A fulfilling sexual relationship can happen in any Advanced Partnership and overcome any physical or emotional limitation if they have a strong desire and motivation to do so.
So, as always, we focus on helping our couple clients increase their functional relationship and become a strong team, after which anything and everything is possible.
