Here at Relationship Coaching Institute we have a positive attitude about most aspects of human experience, including our slogan that\u00a0Being Single is an Opportunity, Not a Disease!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

But not all singles are alike, they come in different flavors such as these Top Seven Types of Singles<\/u><\/p>\n

Top Seven Types of Singles<\/h2>\n

\u00a0 1. Temporarily Single-<\/strong> actively seeking a partner and in between relationships<\/p>\n

\u00a0 2. Recently Divorced\/Widowed-<\/strong>\u00a0recovering from loss and not ready for a relationship<\/p>\n

\u00a0 3. Frustrated Single-<\/strong> wants a partner, not able to find one and gives up<\/p>\n

\u00a0 4.\u00a0Passive Single-<\/strong> wants a relationship but not actively seeking a partner<\/p>\n

\u00a0 5.\u00a0Single But Not Available-<\/strong> self-perception of being single and desires a lasting relationship,
\nbut “hooking up” to get needs met<\/p>\n

\u00a0 6. Busy\/Distracted Single-<\/strong> absorbed in being a single parent, career, school, etc and doesn’t
\nhave time or desire for partner<\/p>\n

\u00a0 7.\u00a0Single by Choice-<\/strong> no desire for a partner, being single is a conscious permanent lifestyle choice
\nfor many reasons, including-<\/p>\n

    • “Been there, done that, don’t want to do it again”<\/li>\n
    • “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”<\/li>\n
    • Ascetic or other religious\/spiritual reason<\/li>\n
    • Loner<\/li>\n
    • Values independence more than couplehood<\/li>\n
    • Polyamory\/alternative lifestyle that doesn’t lend itself to cohabitation<\/li>\n
    • Celibate\/asexual<\/li>\n
    • Financial reasons<\/li>\n
    • Aging<\/li>\n
    • Health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
